First time home buyers
For the first time home buyer the time is right for you to purchase the American dream. The $8,000 tax credit is the first time in history that I can remember that the federal government has paid home buyers to purchase a home. One thing you must be aware of is that this money is only available until the end of this year. But the state has joined in with a program to loan home buyers their down payment up to $4,500 with no payments until July 1, 2010 and then they are going to do a 10 year mortgage at 6% interest. Yes their are certain qualification you must meet, like your ccredit score must be above 620, you must be able to afford the payment and so on. But a lot of families qualify and don’t even know it. Your realtor should know how to build the closing cost into the sale price and it is certainly possible to buy a home for less than $500 out of your pocket. You must find an honest and knowledgeable realtor and lender. I’m not trying to say that anyone is crooked or anything, but their is a difference in lenders and realtors just like in any other profession. I hope that if anyone is considering buying a home that they will go ahead and get started. This is the perfect time. So contact your Realtor and get the process started.
